I have used many products by Neal's Yard in the past and wanted to try some other products as I have had a good experience with them. Neal's yard is a company that believes that beauty should be more natural and less synthetic.
I wanted a night cream, and purchased the 'Vitamin E & Avocado night cream'. Which is an antioxidant cream for all skin types.
Price: £17.80 50ml
It is made with a blend of naturally nutritious wheatgerm and avocado oils and claims to help balance your skin whilst moisturising it, reducing redness and fighting signs of ageing. This moisturiser also contains comfrey extract to help skin regenerate and bring vitality back to a dull complexion.
Sounds good eh? (Hopefully, it will be.)
Here's what it looks like, it looks quite rich, but absorbs easily.....
The staff are generally friendly and happy to give samples, so always get a sample to "try" before you "buy".
I was explaining that I had some acne scarring on my cheeks, the therapist advised me that rose hip seed oil massaged into the area will help. I was given a sample of the "Wild rose beauty balm" to use once or twice a week, it's the thick yellow paste. I also got a sample of the "Palmarosa serum" which is supposed to be applied daily to the area to reduce scars. I don't know if this will, and I certainly wont be able to tell from a few uses, so I guess it will remain a mystery if I don't purchase the full size.
However, I do own pure rose hip seed oil on its own that I purchased a while ago, so maybe I will try that once I am out of the samples.
Have you tried anything from Neal's Yard?
I have officially ran out of all of my liquid foundations and tinted moisturisers, so I finally purchased the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser after wanting it for some time. I opted for the oil free version, and my shade is 'Sand'. I will do a review on it after I have shown it some love! It better be good for £31.31 for 50ml.
